A Case of Lichen Arnyloidosus

Abstract
A case of lichen amyloidosus is presented with a brief review of literature.
A 55-year-old woman has had persistent, pruritic eruptions symmetrically on both shins for about 10 years without any systemic symptoms. The individual lesions were firm, non-elastic, non-tender, discrete, closely-set, pinhead-sized, brownish-red, dome-shaped or hemispheric papules.
Histopathological examination showed homogeneous; amorphous material chiefly in the dermal papillae.
The patient was treated with a topical corticosteroid under occlusion, and the lesion and pruritus were somewhat ameliorated.
